Information you send us
Our quote forms ask for your name, phone number, email address, postcode and information about the windows or doors you need. The prices-page form also asks how many windows you are enquiring about. You can contact us instead by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email. If you send photos or other details through those services, they become part of your enquiry. Trevor and Charlie handle enquiries for Double Glazing Plus. We use the details to reply, prepare quotes and arrange work. We do not use them to send marketing messages.
Where your enquiry goes
Website quote forms send the information you enter directly from your browser to Web3Forms, which delivers enquiries and retains copies of submissions. Our email provider and, if you use it, WhatsApp process messages as part of receiving and replying to them. If you proceed with work, we may share only the details needed with our product supplier to fulfil your order. We do not sell enquiries or pass them to unrelated installers. The website does not upload photos through its quote forms. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for a quotation.
How long enquiries are kept
We do not currently have a fixed deletion schedule for quote enquiries in email or WhatsApp. Web3Forms also stores submissions; its retention depends on the setting for our form, which we are checking. We will update this notice when we have confirmed our retention arrangements. You can contact us to ask about or request deletion of your enquiry.
Website visits and other services
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google advertising measurement only after you accept optional cookies. These tools can receive information about your visit and interactions with the site. Google Fonts is used to display text and may receive your IP address when the font is loaded. Your choices and requests
You can reject optional cookies and still use the quote forms and contact links. You can change your cookie choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. To ask for access to, correction of or deletion of information you have sent, email us at the address above. Data protection rights depend on the circumstances; you may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
